Parque Warner Madrid is a Theme Park located in the town of San Martín de la Vega, in the Community of Madrid, Spain. The Park is divided into 5 themed areas set in scenes from movies and cartoons produced by Warner Bros. and DC Comics, as well as in various areas of the United States. Since 2006 it has held the award for the Safest Theme Park in Spain. In 2019, the park received more than 2 million visitors, ranking among the twenty theme parks in Europe with the most visitors. In collaboration with the Mexican company “El Gabinete”, a content manager has been developed that allows distribution to mobile devices both in native applications and in web applications. The content manager is a tool that hosts content of different types, text, image, video, audio, virtual and augmented reality. It has tools that allow cultural spaces to design interactive guided tours for different types of audiences such as children, families or older adults. Accessibility is a fundamental characteristic of the manager in such a way that videos in sign language, audio descriptions and subtitles can be easily integrated. Translations and voiceovers can be generated automatically in more than 30 languages. The visitor’s mobile applications are designed to be used in a simple way and as an accompaniment in their tour of the public site, both outdoors and indoors. In the case of not having an internet connection, we have the BoxToLife device that offers a local WiFi network to distribute content to mobile applications with low energy consumption. In this case, the Ministry of Defense has relied on this solution to implement it in three of its museums. The Army Museum, The Naval Museum and the Museum of Aeronautics and Astronautics. At IACPOS we continue to develop solutions to improve the visitor experience.

All these years of trust and good work on the part of our Company, has caused Fundación Mapfre to trust again, in the long term, for the solution, which is giving it such good results in its day-to-day operations. At a time when we are experiencing enormous development, the new ticket sales solution has just been implemented in the cloud, with the same operation as the usual program, but with a much more decisive interface and dynamics and much more visually powerful. IAAPA EXPO EUROPE IN SPAIN The main event of the leisure industry worldwide, every year it is held in Europe. This year the chosen destination was again Barcelona, a city in which it had already been held a few years ago, with total success in terms of public influx. IAAPA Expo Europe is the largest international trade show and conference and the main meeting point for the attractions industry in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Every year thousands of operators and directors come together to discover the latest innovations, technology and services related to all aspects of the entertainment business. Special events, EDUTours and networking receptions offer opportunities to network with industry leaders, both operators and suppliers. This year it was possible to enjoy these events at various points such as Port Aventura or Tibidabo. Renewal of the San Luis de Los Franceses service The monumental complex of San Luis de los Franceses is located in the historic center of Seville. Built between 1699 and 1731 by the architect Leonardo de Figueroa, it is made up of the old Jesuit novitiate, where its chapel stands out, and the public church. The interior is beautifully decorated by the painters Lucas Valdés and Domingo Martínez, the images and altarpieces of the temple being mostly works by the sculptor Pedro Duque Cornejo. The main altarpiece is profusely decorated and is a spectacle of forms, mirrors, lights and colors, highlighting a large crown on a canopy presided over by a canvas of Saint Louis, from the Zurbarán school. The Domestic Chapel is located in the old novitiate, separated from the main church. The solution also allows the possibility of access with DNI for subscribers. In addition, IACPOS has been able to successfully integrate with the client’s own CRM, and thus be able to combine reports and statistics; and we have worked with our API for integration with different agencies in the sector, enabling them to sell tickets, thus expanding the possibility of a greater number of visitors to the Centers.

IACPOS implements new automatic machines in the Castle of Gibralfaro and Alcazaba of Malaga Alcazaba of Malaga Its name in Arabic means ‘citadel’ and it is one of the most visited places by tourists who come to this Andalusian city. It is located next to the Gibralfaro Castle, to which it was linked by a corridor, near the Roman Theater and in front of the Customs building. It was built between 1057 and 1063 at the request of the Berber Taifa king of Granada, Badis. Pieces from the nearby Roman theater were used in its construction and part of those columns and capitals can still be seen today. It underwent several reforms turning it into a fortress palace organized in rectangular patios, gardens and walls. Gibralfaro Castle This castle dates back to the 14th century and its main function was to house the troops and protect the Alcazaba. First presence of IACPOS in Panama Panama Canal Museum The installation of the system in the Museum of the Interoceanic Canal of Panama, supposes the first contact of IACPOS with this beautiful country, and it is an honor for us to do it through this beautiful Museum. It is a permanent, non-profit institution, at the service of society and its development, which acquires, preserves, investigates, interprets, disseminates and exhibits the testimonies of the history of Panama and its Canal, for education, knowledge and the delight of the visiting public. It does so through the careful selection, acquisition, and display of objects and materials related to the history, construction, technology, and operation of the Panama Canal. The Museum of the Interoceanic Canal of Panama has temporary and permanent exhibitions where the testimonies of the history of the interoceanic route and the construction of the Panama Canal are exhibited. In this case, the Museum entrusted IACPOS with the important mission of launching the automation of ticket sales, in such a way that the user could be provided with a fast and efficient system, as well as an operational back office that filled with information to the Center. The installation has been a success in the midst of the pandemic, efficiently mounting the database and configuration applications on the local server, and using a team from the property for the sales system at the main box office. The entire statistical system is installed in order to provide the property with all the necessary information regarding sales and visits; and it is prepared and configured to be able to make the sale and reserve online during the coming year.
